When you hear, “Ready or not, here I come!,” what do you think of?
For many of us, it’s the old game, Hide and Seek.
When Jesus tells His disciples what to expect in the last days, He exhorts them and us to be alert and prepared because we won’t know the exact day or hour.
But, we can know the season.
Beloved, we are in the season of His return.
The fig tree has put forth its leaves, and not only is Summer near, but more importantly, Jesus is near.
Many Bible scholars have pointed to the Feast of Trumpets as the feast that correlates to the catching away of the church in what is called the Rapture.
It is the only feast that’s start date and time is unknown. It all depends on the sighting of the New Moon.
Jesus’ point was that, as believers, we should spot the signs of His nearing to catch up His Bride, the church.
I believe that Jesus is poised to say, “Ready or not, here I come!”
I don’t know about you, but I want to be found ready.
I speculate that we will caught up to His Presence in the amount of time it takes to blink.
We will close our eyes in this dimension, and then open them in a dimension that we’ve never been able to see before.
Beloved, the time is growing ever shorter.
Are you ready?
Have you placed your faith in the blood of Jesus to pay the penalty for sin or are you still trusting in your own ability to be good enough.
No one can be good enough because God’s standard is 100% perfection…no sin whatsoever.
No one can pass that test. All of us have sinned and fall short of the mark.
This is why Jesus died for us.
He took our place and made Himself a ransom payment for all who would look to Him by faith.
Beloved, when Jesus comes to catch away His Bride to celebrate at His Father’s home for 7 years, you want to go with Him.
You don’t want to be left behind.
We know that those 7 years on earth will be the worst years in human history.
Do not put off choosing to turn from sin and accepting Jesus as your Savior.
Also, do not put off sharing the gospel with your loved ones and for that matter with anyone who will listen!
So many Biblical signs are aligning quickly.
If you’re already a follower of Jesus, allow the Spirit to search you and show you anything you need to purge from your life and ask Him to lead you in His victory over temptation and sin.
Beloved, our days here are numbered…and it’s a very small number.
Ready or not, Jesus is coming. Are you ready?
