Satan, is the prince of the power of the air.

He knows his time is short, so he is deploying every weapon he has in his arsenal.

Wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes, famines, pestilence, economic chaos and now drones….

We all just want Peace!

One of the names of the Christ of Christmas is Prince of Peace.

A Prince is a leader, military commander or one in the kingly line.

Peace, in Hebrew, is the word, shalom which means the absence of strife or wholeness resulting in healthy relationships.

Ultimately, Christ at His Second Coming will bring world peace.

No political party or leader is the prince of peace.

The end of all wars depends on the coming of a royal Person that came as a child on that first Christmas.

There is only one Prince of Peace: Jesus, who is Immanuel, God with us.

His coming promised peace between God and man and between man and man.

The nations are looking for a world ruler because they do not know how to rule, how to provide true prosperity, peace, joy, and safety, and because of this, they are ripe for the Antichrist.

The peace that we experience now as believers in Christ is peace between us and God through our justification.

Romans 5:1 says,

“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

We can experience His peace in our soul through faith as we walk intimately with Christ.

We live in a world that is far from a peaceful place, yet God through His Spirit gives us the Prince of Peace living in us, so that we might have peace in the midst of the chaos.

We can expect Jesus to be our “Life Calmer.”

We are to look forward to the day when the Prince of Peace will come again, and all things will be set right once and for all, and peace will finally come in its completeness to this broken world.

He also will provide peace on earth, which the angels announced to the shepherds on the night Christ was born, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men,” which will come during the Millennium.

In this life, Jesus comes to give us peace in the midst of the things we cannot control.

Do we trust Jesus Christ to calm our life in the midst of the things we have no control over?

The Prince of Peace is living in us; let’s trust Him to live through us!

Blessings!
