Have you ever doubted that God was really FOR you?
Have you ever reacted to pain by concluding that getting close to God or wholeheartedly surrendered to God’s will for you was not a safe choice?
I know there have been times in my life that I’ve reacted to a twist or turn in my life by taking a step back from God because He seemed too dangerous to be near.
While I was at the Network 220 conference in Manassas, VA, I had a chance to visit with a precious sister, Katy Pistole.
She runs Beautiful Brokenness Ministries where she teaches the Exchanged Life truths through natural horsemanship demonstrations.
Horses are natural ‘prey’ animals, and they see humans as ‘predators.’
It takes time to build a relationship with a horse before they feel safe enough to submit to the leadership of a person.
Katy did a demonstration of how to build that relationship with a horse and then showed us how her horse, Scooter, trusts her enough to follow her lead in their dance.
I was able to record most of the demonstration and wanted to share it with you.
As you watch, think about how trusting Scooter is of Katy. He wants to follow her cues.
Our loving Father also wants us to trust Him to always be FOR us so that we, too, can follow His lead in the dance of life.
