Ministry News

Greetings once again in the name of our blessed Savior and Lord Jesus Christ!  I hope that you have had a great Fall with family and friends, and I wish you all a Merry Christmas!

We are looking to rebrand the ministry to a name that works down South.  We are leaning towards Redeeming Hearts Ministries, but that it not official yet.  Crystal Hippo will be spearheading a new aspect of the ministry as she networks with prison ministries to equip their staff and help them fundraise.

We are signing an offer on the farm today, but it is contingent on the sale of another property of the buyer.  If this property in Carbon County sells by March 15th, we will settle on the sale of the farm on March 31st.  If it does not sell by then, our farm goes back on the market and we start the process all over again.  Please pray that it sells quickly so that I can secure housing and plan moving details easily.

I still have a busy schedule every other week, and I am praying that the Lord adds new folks regularly to fill in the other two weeks.  The Lord is doing a powerful work in several of my new clients and solidifying His work in my veterans as well.

I am tentatively booked for a Ladies Conference in the Hazelton, PA area in early May 2023.  There are a few details that need to come together for it to happen.  If not, it will be postponed to the Fall or to 2024.  It will be good to get back on the speaking trail again!

I am hearing of pockets of revival happening in our country already. Let’s pray it sweeps our nation and the world!  Great ministry opportunities are here!  Please keep praying!

Testimony Time

#1 Reginald and Clara have both been through challenging first marriages.  They both are seeking to grow in their walk and heal past hurts before committing to marriage again.  In addition, they have the dynamic of co- parenting children from their previous marriages.

Reginald quickly took to the NOW compasses toolset and started journaling what the Lord was showing him.  As we moved on to use the FED map to locate and clean out past trauma, he started to see immediate relief and healing.  There is much more cleaning that needs to take place, but he is off to a great start.

They came in as a couple to work on communication skills and conflict resolution.  They have very different personalities, but they are working hard to be slow to speak, quick to listen and slow to anger.

Reginald is really wanting to be a godly leader in the relationship, and his church is doing a great job at providing them a seasoned couple to mentor both of them.  I am excited to see them grow in their walk with the Lord and with each other.

#2 Marissa has been a long time mentee of mine, and she is a Journey Tools Alumni.  Her son joined the military and completed his training in the Fall.  This was a hard transition for the whole family.  She was so glad to have the Journey Tools to process the emotional roller-coaster ride that ensued.

The NOW compasses helped her stay in tune with the Lord, and the FED map helped clean out some painful events.  She’s taking one day at a time and walking with Jesus learning to live aware of His Presence with her!

Pastor Ken’s Update

From Pastor Ken Keeler:  About 28 men have been involved in my Men’s Group that I had been leading and we are studying the Book of Philippians. It has been going real well. The men are hungry for the Word and are growing in their intimate walk with Christ. Please continue to pray for this group.

I am continuing to preach through the Book of Galatians in a Sunday evening service at my church. We are studying how we are set free from the Law and can walk in the freedom of Grace. Please continue to pray for those who attend.

As I sub again this school year at the Christian School of York, please pray for these teaching times to bear eternal fruit in the lives of the students for His glory! Thank you!

ELM Finances

Thank you so much to all of you who made donations this quarter.  Your generosity has been an encouragement to me.

Finances are tight here as they are everywhere in this crazy economy.  Months ago the IRS levied a ridiculous late fine because of my missing the 2020 990EZ due date. I am awaiting the appeal. Please pray that it is waived or at least reduced from $3050 to a nominal amount.

We count on year end giving to get us started off well in the new year.  Please ask the LORD if He wants to do donate to His work here and ask Him how much.  Trust Him to lead you.  Thank you!

Your tax deductible donation can be made to ELM and you can do so by check or by going to the Donation page of our website at www.elmphilly.com/donate.
