Ministry News

Greetings once again in the name of our blessed Savior and Lord Jesus Christ!  I hope you’ve had a great start to 2022 and are looking forward to Spring temperatures and flowers!

I wrapped up another amazing Journey Tools group in February and am gearing up to launch another one at the end of March.  If you want to learn more just shoot me an email or give me a call.  We would appreciate your prayers as we are still developing some key software that will allow us to launch groups more efficiently and in greater numbers.  It’s been a much slower process than we expected.

I’ve been blessed with several new clients this quarter, but there is always room for more.  Most of my clients are willing to make the move to my online platform once my move to SC happens.  I am very grateful for that!  I am hearing from folks down in Greenwood that they are ready to start referring folks to me as soon as I am up and running there.

At home, we are cleaning out furniture and other stuff that is not making the trip south.  My sister is handling the sale and wants the house as empty as possible before having an open house.  It will likely go on the market in April or May.  My move could happen sometime in May or June.  The couple that was interested has had to bow out as the Lord is leading them to relocate to another state.  Thank you for your prayers as I gear up to move to SC to partner with Donny in teaching Journey Tools and the Exchanged Life truths to groups and individuals.  God is on the move!

Testimony Time

Harriet was referred to me by her Pastor.  She came to faith in her senior years and was really struggling with anxiety and shame over life choices.  She grew up in an abusive home with little encouragement from either parent.  She just wanted to be loved.  This led her to many relationships in her life that left her brokenhearted.

We started our journey together by helping her connect with the Lord using the NOW compasses of Journey Tools.  We also walked through  the Thinker/Feeler section of the Way of the Cross.  Having a perspective on how thoughts determine our emotions helped her to see how important it is to test her thoughts against Scripture and rein them in with truth.  She is doing much better recognizing the strategies of Satan as he tries to trap her in fear and shame.

We just started our journey through the Steps to Freedom warfare prayers.  Some deep cleaning is needed from her past involvement in false teaching and occult practices.  She was happy to renounce these things and earnestly wants to walk uprightly with Jesus.

The enemy loves to nag at her with her past mistakes, and she battles against performance based acceptance.  She is growing slowly in her understanding of how Jesus’ blood has paid the penalty for all of her sins even the future ones.  We are praying her out of fear into faith and rest.

She is proof that it’s never too late to learn grace!

Keeler’s Corner

From Pastor Ken Keeler:  I praise the Lord that He has been using me every Sunday evening to preach through Philippians.  We are seeing Christ as our life, our mind, our goal, and strength from these four chapters.

The Wednesday night Men’s Group is looking at Grace vs. Law by using the workbook that I wrote.  The men have really been growing spiritually and the numbers have been growing as well.  I praise the Lord for that!

The Lord used me to teach for three weeks at the Christian School of York in the middle school Bible class until they found a new permanent teacher.

Please continue to pray for these teaching times to bear eternal fruit in the lives of the listeners for His glory!  Thank you!
