What was the most important day in the history of mankind?
In my opinion it was the day that Jesus was raised from the dead.
Without the resurrection of Jesus, we’d have no hope.
Because the Father gave Jesus His life back, we can now receive His life by faith.
When we look to Jesus as our Savior, a great trade takes place.
He gives us His righteousness in exchange for our sin.
It’s not real fair for Him, but it’s great for us!
Beloved, He loves us so much that He willfully became sin that we could become righteous.
Only a righteous person can stand in the presence of our Holy Father God.
No person can truly claim to be righteous in their own merits.
Jesus was the only person who lived a sinless life; only He could die in our place to pay the penalty for mankind’s sin.
The life of Jesus is so powerful that when a we accept Jesus as our Savior a radical transformation takes place.
We are taken out of Adam’s family and reborn into Jesus’ family.
In our nature, we are fundamentally changed from sinners in Adam to saints in Christ Jesus.
We were children of wrath; now we are children of God.
We were condemned; now we are justified.
We were rejected by God; now we are completely accepted by Him.
We were hopeless; now we are hopeful.
We were slaves to sin; now we are slaves to righteousness.
We were dead in our trespasses and sins; now we are alive and washed by the blood of the Lamb.
We were weak and powerless; now we have the strength of Christ Jesus in us.
We were trapped in our flesh; now we are free to put off the flesh and put on the mindset of Jesus and look to Him as our Source and Giver of Life.
We are free to simply rest and receive the abundant Life that is ours in Christ Jesus.
Hallelujah! He is risen indeed… and so are we!
Blessings!
