Man has made great improvements over the Centuries.

The speed at which we are gaining knowledge is amazing.

About half of all that we learned in the history of mankind was acquired in the last 20 years!

We have made great strides in education, science, technology – the new gadgets we have.

Yet, life is not better.

Life is made easier, but not better.

We live with the same worries and fears, probably more.

We worry about not having enough.

We fear being diagnosed with cancer of some kind.

We have relationship problems at school, at home, and at work.

We have more broken families today and a growing number of suicides.

We see more violence in our world. Life has not improved.

Why? Because man was born a sinner separated from God.

So, if a person really wants a meaningful and rich life, they need to be in Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:17 says,

“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.”

Only Jesus can make people brand new!

We could liken it to an old house that is not renovated, but torn down; and the builder builds a brand new house on the lot.

The life we have in Christ is an entirely new creation.

We are already completely and perfectly changed at the core of our spiritual being, which is in our human spirit.

When we were saved, the Holy Spirit gave new life to our spirit and came to indwell it.

We are to live out of our new creation because this is our power source.

When we believe we are a new creation in Christ, we can learn to live out of this new identity.

Only as we know who we already are as new creations, can we grow to be more like Christ and have victory over the world, the power of sin working through our flesh, and the devil.

We must choose by faith to count ourselves dead to sin and alive to God by yielding to the Holy Spirit.

A couple was given two major league baseball tickets.

As soon as they entered the stadium, they made their way to one of the few vendors where you could buy food for a dollar.

So, they stood in a long line and finally came away with popcorn and their soft drink.

They went up to the assigned section where they were met by two attendants who welcomed them and informed them that all the food in the suite was complimentary.

They turned the corner and saw a beautiful air-conditioned room with many kinds of food and drink.

There were hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, barbecue, shrimp Alfredo, ice cream, etc.

You can imagine how foolish they felt clutching their bag of popcorn and their cup of soda.

They did not know the riches that were actually theirs.

Many Believers do not know the riches that are available to them in Christ, since they are a new creation.

May we live a rich and meaningful life as new creation!

Blessings!
