The Royal Law of Love Part 2

In my last post, I focused on what it looks like to agape God with all our heart, soul and mind.

This week, I want to look at what it means to love my neighbor as myself and how it becomes the natural outflow of loving God.

Once again, here’s the definition of Agape:

“Choosing to set aside my self-interests to serve the best interests of another no matter what it costs me and no matter how they treat me in return.”

The last part of the definition is the really hard part!

It’s easy to love those who love and accept you in return, but how about those folks who respond to you with rejection?

Our flesh will want to either withdrawal or fire back a bigger rejection missile.

In this week’s Exchanged Life Nugget of Truth video, I explain how living in God’s Agape empowers us to agape the people around us no matter how they treat us in return.

I hope it encourages you to choose to daily rest and receive His love for you and allow it to overflow to those around you!

Blessings!
