I don’t know about you, but I am a bit of a prophecy addict.
That said, I am tuned into the news coming out of the Middle East.
It breaks my heart to hear of the atrocities committed by ISIS, especially against Christians.
Mainstream media has failed to adequately report the sufferings of Christians at the hands of ISIS.
Women and children are being sold as sex slaves with the youngest ones fetching the highest prices.
Reports from the few who have managed to escape are that these captives are being raped multiple times each day.
Men are being beheaded or crucified for their faith, with the mass beheading of the Egyptian Christians being televised for all to see.
This could lead some people to ask, “Where is God in all of this?”
In Revelation 13:7, John is told that the Beast would make war against the saints and overcome them.
In Revelation 6:9-11, the martyrs cry out to God for justice, but they are told to patiently wait until their numbers are complete.
So, we know that many Christians will be challenged to believe in Jesus even to the point of death.
Does this mean that Satan is winning?
Absolutely NOT!
The outcome of the war between good and evil has already been determined.
Jesus won! Good will conquer evil completely.
Take heart, beloved! Nothing can separate us from Jesus and His love for us, not even ISIS terrorists.
Is it going to get harder to stand for our faith in Jesus? YES!
This is all the more reason to be in God’s Word daily and to be in fellowship with believers who are committed to the inerrancy of the Bible.
In Luke 21:28, Jesus exhorts, “But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, for your redemption is drawing near.”
Beloved, put on God’s armor every morning (Ephesians 6:18-21), and stand firm in your faith in Christ Jesus!
The victory has been won! Our Redeemer draws near!
Blessings!

Dear Robyn:
Another great lesson! I , too, am watching the news and tonight again, I heard a pastor review again about the Blood Moons. It’s coming. In the meantime, I am aching in sadness for all those young girls and even little girls- they kidnap and use them. Whereever are those 250 school girls that were taken right out of school? It is so sad, and it makes you want to be angry. But vengeance is mine- I will repay says the Lord! They will get their due and everlasting punishment. But those poor parents, how they must grieve and even have no food, shelter or even water for themselves. We better not complain here with our running water and grocery stores every where. But all we need is a bomb on our east coast electric supply and we are doomed. In the meantime- let us look up! I still love the old anthem we sang ( part of a cantata)- “Jesus is ComIng”
Carry on !
Love and prayers,
Margaret DeLancey
PS: Courage to start over- I loved that- it has happened to me as well. (or I left something out that I wanted to say)
