ELM December 2017 Newsletter

Ministry Update

Greetings once again in the name of our blessed Savior and Lord Jesus Christ!  I hope you enjoyed celebrating Thanksgiving with family and friends.  Mom and I enjoyed filet mignon… we both hate turkey.  I pray that you are able to stay focused on celebrating the birth of our Savior despite the craziness of this time of year.

Pastor Ken Keeler continued to enjoy numerous opportunities to preach and teach on Sundays.  Just recently he held a Prophecy in the News Conference with 85 folks in attendance.  It was videotaped, and we hope to have in available for viewing on our website soon.

Ken is always looking for new opportunities, so if your Pastor is looking for pulpit supply or is interested in hosting a conference, simply email Ken at [email protected] to schedule him at your church.

I have been blessed with several new clients, but I have openings for several more, so please consider referring those looking for Biblical counseling to ELM.  Thanks!

The new website and redesigned blog continue to receive positive feedback.  So, take a moment a check out our latest blogs entries.

Testimony Time

Rasheena came to faith in Jesus as her Lord and Savior out of a very dark past.  Her ex-husband overtly followed Satan. Even though that marriage had ended years ago, she was sensing the presence of the enemy in her life.  Both she and her current husband realized the need to have help going through the Steps to Freedom warfare prayers to recover any ground that Satan still claimed as a result of her first marriage.

We started with going through a list of occult practices that she had willfully participated in as a youth and young adult.  Then, we addressed any connections that remained generational and through her soul connection to her first husband.  Once this ground was reclaimed through prayer, she was giddy with a new sense of the freedom that is hers in Christ.

Like many folks, when we got to the Forgiveness prayer, she had some struggles forgiving her ex and some other family members, but with support, she made it through the process.  Her only regret was not doing the prayers sooner!

I would like to say that there was no push back from the enemy.  However, the enemy has been using one of her children, who is pursuing dark things, to attack her and cause stress in her marriage.

Beloved, if you have had a past connection with the occult or New Age or any other false religion, please consider going to our website and downloading the free documents.  If you already receive our weekly emails, use the contact form to ask me to email them to you.  The are both FREE and FREEING!

Mom (Emma) Update

Thanks for your faithful prayers for mom.  On the heels of her pacemaker change, mom woke up with a very inflamed right cheek.  It was scary!  It turned out to be a severe tooth infection.

We learned the hard way that antibiotics really mess with Coumadin.  So, after a two week delay, she had oral surgery to remove two teeth.  Her healing went very well.

Thanks to all who helped me get her to her appointments!

Mom continues to show signs of decline.  She can’t hear even when I speak right into her ear, so I am using a small white board to communicate with her.  Please keep her in your prayers!  Thank you!

ELM Finances

Thank you so much to all of you who made donations this last quarter.  Please consider giving a year-end donation to help us finish the year in the black.

Donations of any amount are such an encouragement to me as I try to juggle all the needs of the ministry while caring for my mom. Please pray that counseling revenue and donations increase in 2018.

Please consider making your tax deductible donation to ELM.  You can do so directly on our website by clicking on the Donation tab or by sending in a check to our address.  Simply, make your check payable to ELM.
