Big Ministry News!

Greetings once again in the name of our blessed Savior and Lord Jesus Christ!  I hope that you have had a great start to 2023!

The big news is that we are under contract for the farm sale.  It settles on March 31st and I have secured an apartment in Greenwood, SC.  My departure date is March 19th, and I am thankful for a friend,  Mike McKenna, who is an experienced truck driver who will be driving the U-Haul down with my vehicle in tow.  It’s a big change, but God’s hand is all over this.

We are waiting on the State of Pennsylvania to approve the fictitious name of Redeeming Hearts Ministries.  Once that is complete we will be Exchanged Life Ministries of Greater Philadelphia doing business as Redeeming Hearts Ministries.

Crystal Hippo will be taking over my office space and I will be working alongside the Cross Care Ministries staff.  If the Lord leads, I will switch over to Cross Care in the future. The plans are to switch my PA folks to an online platform and to build up a client base in SC. I have a Journey Tools Grief and Trauma group starting this week.

I believe that the Spirit is breathing on His church to revive us and great harvest of souls is on the near horizon.  The pockets of revival happening in our country are exciting. Let’s pray it sweeps our nation and the world!  Great ministry opportunities are here!  Please keep praying!

Testimony Time

In February of 2022, I received a call and challenge from the Lord. He asked me in my spirit what kind of faith I wanted to have. Did I want shallow water or deep-water faith?  At that moment I knew He was calling me out of the boat into deep waters. Instantly, the Lord brought Peter to my mind. The Spirit showed me that if I keep my focus on Him, He will protect and bear up each step and cause all I do to prosper. The Lord challenged me to leave behind the safety of the boat and to come with him into the deep. The choice was mine to step out of the boat.

And with this Redeeming Hearts Ministries was born. Leaving behind the consistency and dependability of a good paycheck, I embarked on a journey of trust, partnership, and belief in the power of God! The mission and heart of Redeeming Hearts is to come alongside those in physical and spiritual prisons. It is our belief that it is the power of God to salvation and that He alone has the power to transform hearts and bring them into relationship with Him. RHM is dedicated to coming alongside and connecting individuals and ministries to the tools needed to realize and live out a transformed, abundant life. We are a non-profit that supplies support and services to those in prison, their families, their communities, and other small nonprofits with the same vision and heart.

We are in the building stages and would appreciate your prayers, first and foremost. Second, donations are so important to our ability to come alongside and supply the support services needed for the individuals and entities we serve. We encourage you to “Ask God” if he would have you support this ministry and if He says yes, ask Him how much and we thank you for it! In future newsletters, we will unpack this journey further together. Thank you all most of all for your prayers, love, and support!  Blessings from Crystal Hippo!

Keeler’s Korner

Pastor Ken is having a great time teaching his men’s group and preaching on Sunday nights at his church.  He is stepping in to an advisory role this year and will continue to write blogs for this ministry.  Thank you, Pastor Ken for teaching me the Exchanged Life truths so long ago.  Without you, this ministry would not exist!

ELM/RHM Finances

Thank you so much to all of you who made donations this quarter.  Your generosity has been an encouragement to me.

Finances are tight here as they are everywhere in this crazy economy.  I am still awaiting the decision on my appeal of the $3,000+ fine from our 2020 990EZ form.  Please continue to pray that it is waived or at least reduced from $3050 to a nominal amount.

While my counseling services generate some revenue for ELM/RHM, what Crystal is doing is completely dependent on donations.  Her connection to an established, respected prison ministry gives us an opportunity to be in a space that most organizations do not have access to either in the secular or faith-based realm.

We simply ask you to ask God if He wants you to partner with us in this endeavor.  If He says, “Yes,” then ask Him how much and trust Him to lead you.  Thank you!

For donations by check for Crystal, write HIPPO in the memo line and mail to: Exchanged Life Ministries 1259 Route 113 Suite 205 Perkasie, PA 18944

Your tax deductible donation can be made to ELM and you can do so by check or by going to the Donation page of our website at https://elmphilly.com/donate.
