I’ve shared in the past about the struggle of not feeling good enough.

I have several clients really battling this self-perception which is not in alignment with how God sees them.

As I’ve prayed on how to help them into freedom and rest, the Lord pointed out to me that this is the result of self-judgment and self-condemnation.

They have unwittingly stepped into God’s seat of Judge and instead of applying the Blood of Jesus, they have seen themselves only in their filthy rags and rendered the GUILTY verdict and issued the sentence of CONDEMNED.

I think it’s safe to say that the vast majority of us have fallen in this trap that the enemy loves to set for us.

The Apostle Paul was up against some folks in Corinth who judged him as unworthy of the title Apostle.

In 1 Corinthians 4:3 he states:

“I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself.”

The enemy knows that the Lord has issued the NOT GUILTY verdict to all those who put their faith in the shed blood of Jesus.

However, he seeks to deceive us through accusations made by entities he assigns to us to act as prosecuting attorneys.

They listen and watch us, and as they gather evidence, they claim the right to prosecute and persecute us not unlike the opening scene in Job.

God had rendered a verdict of righteous in Job’s case.

They enemy challenged that verdict.

God’s verdict prevailed on earth as the enemy’s strategies to prove his case failed and Job’s faith was established on grace instead of works.

Beloved, guard your minds against the accusations of the enemy.

Do not fall into his trap of judging yourself.

God has already declared you not guilty by virtue of your faith in the shed blood of the Lamb.

Set your focus vertical in alignment with His love and favor.

Rest in it.

You will make choices in alignment with His love as you walk in obedience.

Stop judging yourself.

The Case against you is closed…. Forever not guilty because of the shed blood of the Lamb!

Hallelujah!

Blessings!
