Ministry News

Greetings once again in the name of our blessed Savior and Lord Jesus Christ!  It’s that Pumpkin Spice time of year!  Aren’t you excited!  I actually like it, but sadly, I’ve had to curtail my coffee intake due to a recent spike in blood pressure.  The Lord showed me the importance of magnesium, and it has made a huge difference in my BP.

My counseling load is different every week, and He has brought me some new clients.  I am so grateful for online options that will allow my current clients to stay with me when I head South.  Please keep referring folks to me despite my future move!  Thank you!

My colleague, Donny Godsey, contracted Whooping cough and on its heels, COVID.  It was a scary few weeks, but he is regaining his strength and momentum.  We have several prayer needs for Journey Tools…. completion of the Programming of our app; effective connections with churches and scholarship fundraising…. are just a few.

My friend, Katy Pistole, and I are making a journey down to Greenwood from Sept 17 to 22nd.  Please pray for a safe trip and good connections.  We are seeing folks along the way and I will have 2 solid days with Donny to listen for God’s leading in housing for me and my office there.  The most likely departure season is the Spring of 2022, but that’s my best guess not God’s decree.  It could be sooner; it could be later.  I just need to be ready to go when He says so; it’s that simple. Oh, did I mention…. He provided a buyer for the farm?  They are from my church and love the place.  They are horse people in need of land!

Testimony Time

#1    Jesse was a leader in a local Christian addiction recovery program. It had made a huge difference in her life for sure. She was referred to me by a local church, and when I heard come of her challenges with anxiety and her marriage, I started to share some of the Journey Tools with her along with the Exchange Life principles.

After several weeks of learning the key tools and implementing them, she was overwhelmed with joy at what God was showing her.  She talked with the Lord about whether He wanted her in a group with the idea of becoming a facilitator for us.  She and her husband are working through the course and are excited to see how it’s going to help their marriage and their ministry moving forward.

#2   Sally joined Journey Tools not knowing what to expect. She just knew that she was miserable, angry and negative. The first toolset helped her be still and hear the Lord’s voice. The second toolset started to reach some deep trauma from her youth, but the Lord met her in these memories.

One specific trauma caused her brain to shut off her sense of smell.  All she could smell was skunk and peanut butter, that’s it.  As she processed the trauma through the FED map, the Lord fully restored her smell.  She called me rejoicing in amazement over rediscovering the wonders of aromas!  She was even grateful for stinky smells! Later, as we went through the videos on our Identity in Christ and how God sees us, she was set free from the lies of performance based acceptance and now sees how God delights in her by His grace.

She is excited about facilitating groups for her friends and seeing where the Lord will take her in helping others find freedom and joy  too.  Her family and friends are amazed at the transformation!

Pastor Ken Keeler’s Update

From Pastor Ken Keeler:  I have just finished preaching through Joshua in the Sunday Evening Service at my church. It was a great series teaching about our victory we have in Christ as illustrated by the battles Israel fought.

Soon, I will be starting a new series on the Philippians, and in addition, I will be starting up my Men’s Group at church again on Sept. 22nd. On September 19th, I will once again be speaking at a local church in York.

I wrote a study called: Discovering God’s Plan For Transcending Law By Grace. It looks at how to live under the New Covenant of Grace and not the Old Covenant of the Law.

Please pray for these preaching and teaching opportunities and for more opportunities to preach in churches.
